		Strategy: What type of mechanisms, including working groups, networks, and other bodies are engaged in the CFM policy development process? What groups oppose the approval of CFM policies? What are their primary concerns? Is there transparency in policy formulation? Is the approach top-down, bottom-up, or a mix of both? How are stakeholders consulted and are their rights and responsibilities clear? What strategies may be used in the future to further develop CFM policies in your country?

Impact How has the passage of CFM policies and related programs affected the achievement of such national objectives as controlling illegal logging, forest fires, poaching, reducing corruption, and improving watershed management? How has the passage of CFM policies and related programs affected the achievement of such local objectives as enhancing forest land tenure security, improving livelihoods, and financial mechanisms?
