| National Program Support |
Through its Community Forest Management Support Project, AFN offers national program support to selected country partners in the form of technical assistance, training activities, small grants, and publications support. Two types of projects are supported through the small grants component: Policy-Level activities where outputs have potential impact at the national level, and Field-Level activities where forest communities are the direct beneficiaries of project implementation. Learnings from Field Level activities are fed into policy-level discussions through AFN-sponsored inter-national activities and these multi-level interactions provide the basis by which the Network influences the understanding and implementation of community forest management in the Southeast Asian region.
